Home schooling families need to rely on ourselves, our churches, and our private orgs to offer excellent high school sports opportunities. We've fought so much to make clear that parents stipulate the rules for raising Christians. I'm sad that so many think God has to work through government schools to raise great athletes. I'm glad for Tim's successes, but the logic of public school high school sports is flawed. The actual states that are loose with allowing students to particpate (CO, PA, FL) have put homeschool families into the government fold through a back door. Beware when the government says they're here to help...
